My name is Andrew Dean, and I am a fourth year education student at the University of Regina, majoring in mathematics and minoring in chemistry. I’ve based my beliefs around the development of the world into a digital one, and therefore have many ideas based around the use of technology in the mathematics and science classrooms. Furthermore, I have done a lot of coaching and volunteering, and thus have many opinions between sports, volunteering and education (as both students and teachers).
I have many hobbies which have helped me open my eyes to many great and magnificent things. I love photography and have spent a lot of time photographing in Saskatchewan and British Columbia. I also love to travel, I find the adventures and discoveries to be fascinating. Finally, I love to coach and play sports. To me, there is nothing more exciting.
To finish off this segment about me, I will leave you with a quote that I believe represents my views as an educator:
I’m not afraid of storms, for I’m learning to sail my ship.
