About The Author

My name is Andrew Dean, and I am a fourth year education student at the University of Regina, majoring in mathematics and minoring in chemistry. I’ve based my beliefs around the development of the world into a digital one, and therefore have many ideas based around the use of technology in the mathematics and science classrooms. Furthermore, I have done a lot of coaching and volunteering, and thus have many opinions between sports, volunteering and education (as both students and teachers).

I have many hobbies which have helped me open my eyes to many great and magnificent things. I love photography and have spent a lot of time photographing in Saskatchewan and British Columbia. I also love to travel, I find the adventures and discoveries to be fascinating. Finally, I love to coach and play sports. To me, there is nothing more exciting.

To finish off this segment about me, I will leave you with a quote that I believe represents my views as an educator:

I’m not afraid of storms, for I’m learning to sail my ship.

  1. Andrew, I really appreciated how you developed this space into a portfolio site. I think you’ll be very well positioned to use this in the future to share with future employees and colleagues. Here’s to hoping you maintain this in the future. Thanks for participating in the course. Feel free to contact me any time.
